These
drawings show a floor plan using the frame as a small
cottage or cabin, without additions. The 14' x 24' living
room has a cathedral ceiling. The kitchen is a large 12' x
14.' There is a half-loft above one bay, which provides 14'
x 24" of space for the bedroom and bath. The loft's 5'
knee wall and 8/12 roof pitch ensures plenty of headroom.
The optional hammer beam bent at the end of the great room
provides an especially attractive frame for windows
overlooking a view.
